Colleagues from our North Caledonia region have welcomed Richard Thomson, MP for Gordon, to Pitfichie Forest near Inverurie where work is currently underway to ensure trees are a safe distance away from our lines.

The visit was arranged on the back of the storms which battered the country between November and February, with Mr Thomson’s constituency being one of those worst affected.

Topics discussed included shared learnings from the storms, our work to increase network resilience, the importance of community partnerships and our ongoing work with landowners to ensure that trees are kept a safe distance from our equipment.
