Network Schematics

Our Network Schematics are held in an Extranet SharePoint site called “[External] Networks Commercial Network Schematic Extranet” as PDF print copies of our network operational diagrams. The PDF print copies are extracted on a monthly basis from our POWERON live system and uploaded onto the Extranet SharePoint site for third party access.

CAUTION: Third party access is only granted to NERS accredited Alternative Providers upon:

  • Access requests received by the Connections Policy team at connections.policy@sse.com.
  • Successful completion of the vetting process, which includes checking of the NERS Register on LRQA’s website.

A Connections Policy team member will then add the requesters manually to the Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online “SSE PLC” tenant as Visitors [Read]. This will then provide the requesters with 24/7 access to the PDF print copies of our network operational diagrams.

We will aim to respond to your query within 5 working days from receiving a completed form.

In accordance with Clause 4.5.2 of the Energy Networks Association Competition in Connections Code of Practice, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) may be unable to disclose certain information where, in SSEN’s reasonable opinion, such disclosure would result in the release of confidential or personal data in breach of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, or any other applicable legal or licence obligation. Where disclosure is not possible for these reasons, SSEN will confirm this to the requesting party.
