Our featured roles

  • Linesperson

We're looking for qualified and experienced Linespeople to join our core teams. Working with great people in great teams, it's a responsible job where you'll play a big part in ensuring that the network is maintained to the highest standards and repaired quickly when needed - as in the work we do following major storms that affect supplies. It's varied, rewarding and interesting work with major safety responsibilities too, and opportunities to develop your skills and qualifications as your role develops.
  • Cable Jointer

Working as part of a close knit team you'll work on LV and HV jointing for maintenance and repair work. Cable Jointers are at the heart of our operations - it's a skilled role where you'll use your experience and judgment to provide on the spot solutions, ensuring all safety considerations for your team. With the size of our network, there is plenty of scope to learn and build your career with an organisation that can offer you broad and varied work.
  • Utility Arborist

We're growing our team and looking for people who love being outdoors and have experience climbing or working at height. Combining your skills, previous experience, and judgement you’ll work alongside highly skilled colleagues clearing trees and vegetation growing in proximity to our overhead transmission and distribution network - ultimately keeping the lights on for our customers. Due to the nature of the work, there’s always opportunities to develop your skills and branch out into a more specialist role in our Arborist team. So if you have previous experience in tree cutting, forestry or arboriculture that's a bonus, although full training will be given.
