Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks can report that our network was resilient to the high winds caused by Storm Angus overnight, with less than 10 weather-related high voltage faults observed in our southern network area.
As of 8am there are under 700 customers without power across the area. Expected restoration times are available on our Power track app or www.ssen.co.uk/powertrack or by calling us on the single emergency number, 105. We would like to thank customers for their patience as power is restored.
After reviewing status of repairs, SSEN will return to business as usual status as of 9am this morning.
