Traffic management schemes installed on Chase Road. Road closure to be in place from 22/05/23 to 02/10/23.
Investing in our network to power the future
The works are split in to two phases. Phase 1 will start in January 2023 which is 1 cable route from Canal Bank substation to Leamington Park substation. In January 2023 we are programmed to start on the A40 between Horn Lane and Victoria Road. Phase 2 is anticipated to start in spring 2023, which involves various cable works in areas around Noel Road, Victoria Road and Wales Farm Road.
In addition to the upgrading of infrastructure on the roads we will also be upgrading the associated substations in the areas. This investment in the latest technology will ensure the strength of Leamington Park’s power network.
The nature of these works mean sections of the road networks will require traffic management. We have been working closely with Ealing Borough Council and TFL to make sure we can keep traffic disruption to a minimum.
Information on the extent of the works for phase 1 will be shown on our interactive map here once the project commences. Starting at the end of the private estate, Volt Avenue, the route travels down Chase Road, Victoria Road, across the A40 to Horn Lane, then into Leamington Park W3 6TJ.
