Digitalisation re-opener submission
Within our regulatory framework, mechanisms exist for Distribution Network Operators like Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks to make the case to Ofgem for additional funding for investment if we can justify its need.
We've now submitted a cost submission to the regulator Ofgem for over £25 million. This is to fund both the integration of new digital tools we’ve developed into our day-to-day operations across our business, and also to fulfil our obligations in relation to new or changed digital services.
