constantly changing, and at Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks we are dedicated to
preparing our network for the future and ensuring the electricity
infrastructure is evolving.

need for flexibility in Great Britain’s low carbon transition; and the need to
realise the full value of existing innovative solutions.
The Future Networks and Innovation team
develops and delivers innovation projects for our networks businesses. Our
projects aim for more effective and efficient ways of providing energy for all

practices and commercial arrangements. Innovation provides the potential to

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks and Electricity North West are jointly issuing a call for innovative solutions based on four key challenge areas; Safety innovations, Connection planning, Efficient network development and Asset data. Ideas for Transmission and Distribution networks are welcome, at both NIA and NIC scale. The deadline for entries is 9 January 2018.
