That’s why our free Priority Services provide tailored support. You’ll receive a personalised Power Cut Plan with advice and helpful information designed around your needs, plus clear, simple updates about planned power cuts or severe weather so you can feel prepared and in control.

- Are deaf or hard of hearing
- Have a disability
- Live with children under five
- Are blind or partially sighted
- Have a chronic illness
- Use medical equipment that is reliant on electricity
- Are over 60
- Temporarily need extra support

Online
On our website, you can use the Recite Me toolbar. Just click the yellow button in the bottom left corner of the page and then choose “Try Our Toolbar.” You’ll see options to translate the website into over 125 languages, as well as tools to change how the text looks, is read aloud, or displayed.

On the phone
When you call us, you can ask for an interpreter. We’ll connect you through Language Line, which provides translation in more than 240 languages. We can also arrange an interpreter if we visit your home.
