Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) willbegin essential work on the underground electricity cable network on the A30 on Friday 16 August at 20:00 hours.
These works, which are expected to take around five days to complete, will not affect power supplies.
For the safety of road-users and SSEN staff on site, a traffic management scheme has been agreed with Surrey County Council, Houslow Highways, Highways England and TFL; this incorporates temporary diversions and a road closure of two lanes of the A30 between the Clockhouse Roundabout and Staines. Signage will direct drivers towards alternative routes.
SSEN would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this essential work may cause, and assure you that we will do all we can complete the project as safely and as quickly as possible.
If you have any questions about this work, please contact our Project Manager, Ross Alban on 07342 026890.
