Our Customer and Community Advisors (CCA) are an essential part of SSEN's regional teams, as they provide vital support for our customers on the rare occasions the power is off.

 

We invest millions of pounds every year to provide a safe, secure and reliable supply of electricity. However, there are still occasions when the power goes off temporarily, for example during a storm when the bad weather damages a part of our equipment or if we need to turn the electricity off to allow our engineers to work safely on the network. On these occasions, our CCAs are there to help support our communities as much as possible, with particular focus on customers who have signed up to our Priority Service Register.
