Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks recently launched its Get Ready for Winter Campaign.

The campaign is aimed at makingsure SSEN's customers are prepared for winter and have taken the necessary steps in planning for a power cut or an emergency situation.

To help its customers SSEN has created two new animations, which provide useful help and advice on themeasures people can take to make sure they, their families and friends are prepared for a potential loss of power and what they should do to stay safe in the event of a power cut.

The animations will be hosted on the Power Cut page of SSEN's website and shared on its social media channels to help raise awareness with its customers.

SSEN is committed to helping its customers and would encourage anyone who thinks they require extra assistance in a power cut to sign up to its Priority Services Register where they will get help and support from its dedicated Priority Services team.

If you experience a power cut you can contact SSEN on the new single emergency number 105 and its team will do everything it can to get your power restored.
