Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission plc is responsible for maintaining and investing in the electricity transmission network in the north of Scotland to ensure there is sufficient network capacity for those wishing to generate electricity. In this fast-changing business, SHE Transmission is constantly seeking to improve our understanding of the challenges facing the transmission network in GB, and to find ways to overcome these challenges to ensure security of supply and value for money as Britain moves to a low carbon economy.
