Connections, Reliability, Innovation
This lunch-time webinar will:
*Describe a recent collaborative R&D project identifying key challenges to convertor design and low system strength, key convertor performance areas in relation to this and comparing and contrasting the analysis to the current requirements of GB Grid Code to identify any relevant areas of improvement.
*The webinar will cover the converter modelling approach, investigate levels of network strength at which new forms of control are required or performance cannot be met via standard approaches, analyse critical design factors that may inform new tests or performance needs and identify recommendations for areas of Grid code improvement.
1 Introduction to the Project
2 Converter Model and Test System Description
3 System Strength and Critical Design Factor Analysis
4 Conclusions and Recommendations
5 Discussions / Q&A
