Our Online Community has now closed. We launched the Online
Community as a way for you, our customer, to engage with us at any time of the
day, from a location that suits you. Understanding our customers’ needs is essential to the long-term success
and sustainability of our business and ultimately improves the services we
provide to our customers.
In the past year, our digital
team have been working hard to provide a best in class experience for our
customers using digital platforms. Our social media channels are rapidly
growing with almost 90,000 messages received in the last year, with feedback showing
our customers are happy with how we use Facebook and Twitter to communicate
with them. In 2018 our social media
service offering was recognised in the CCA Global Excellence Awards where we
were shortlisted as finalists for ‘Most Effective use of Social Media’. We feel that now is the time to further
invest in these channels.
We would like to thank you for your
support of the Community and the contributions you have made. These have given us valuable insights and
have led to several changes to the way we do things, a recent example being the
enhancement of branding on our Planned Supply Interruption cards to become
bigger and bolder so that customers who receive these cards know straight away
that it is from us at SSEN.
