  • Our social media pages are intended to provide customers with fast, up to date information and service, to share news pertaining to our business and also to engage in discussions related to our business. All statements and materials posted by contributors and/or our (Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN)) employees reflect the views of the individual and do not necessarily reflect the views of SSEN.

    We encourage everyone to participate in our online community but we ask that you respect SSEN as well as other users on our pages.

    By using our pages you agree to our house rules.

    -Please do not post content that is obscene, violent, racist, abusive, or otherwise offensive. We do not tolerate personal attacks.

    -Please do not spam, attempt to phish, troll, or misrepresent yourself as someone else. This includes multiple or repetitive posts on the same general topic.

    We reserve the right to remove user comments which:

    -Are not related to our business.

    -Contain swear words or other language likely to offend.

    -Are off topic for the page, post, or discussion to which you are posting.

    - Are unauthorised advertisements.

    -Include contact details such as full address, phone numbers or other personal information.

    -Name members of staff, without their permission.

    -Is designed to discredit others who use our social media pages, or our company, without reason.

    We reserve the right to block you from viewing our pages if you blatantly disregard the house rules.

    By publicly commenting on our content or sharing an image with us, you consent to us using your content on our social media pages and in internal and external documents.

    Our social media channels are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
